 Hurricane Karina has strengthened into a major hurricane over the eastern Pacific, according to the latest update from the National Hurricane Center (NHC). As of the latest advisory, Karina was lo cated far southwest of the southern tip of Baja California and was moving westward over the Pacific Ocean.
