 The St. Louis Cardinals delivered a huge offensive performance against the Los Angeles Dodgers, winning 13-8 in their latest matchup at Dodger Stadium.

Thomas Saggese was one of the biggest stars of the night, hitting two home runs as the Cardinals' offense came alive. St. Louis hit five home runs in total, including homers from Ramón Urías, Jordan Walker and Joshua Báez.

The Cardinals also received an important contribution from rookie Leo Bernal, who recorded a two-run single in his MLB debut. The victory was especially valuable for St. Louis because the team remains in the National League Wild Card race.

The Dodgers did fight back. Mookie Betts produced four RBIs, while Will Smith returned to the lineup and contributed two RBIs. However, Los Angeles could not overcome the early deficit.
